The Sussex County Hazard Mitigation Plan 2025 Update is now ready for public review! We are asking all residents of Sussex County to review the final draft of the plan and give feedback. The projects and information included in the HMP (Hazard Mitigation Plan) allow our communities to remain eligible for grant funding opportunities to minimize losses from natural disasters.

The public review period is open through 12/21/2024.

The public and stakeholders are encouraged to participate in the review period by submitting any comments via survey.

From the Stillwater Fire Department: The Stillwater Fire Department will be providing free turkey dinners for Thanksgiving for township residents in need. ALL FIRE RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED. 

 

As of October 31, 2024 the paving has been completed at Mt. Benevolence Road. Oct 31 they are paving Middleville Road starting by the DPW and working their way down. Tomorrow, Nov 1, they will be paving in front of the Town Hall and Hyde Away Restaurant then move onto Veteran’s Park once they’re finished.

Stillwater Recreation Basketball

Stillwater Recreation Basketball accepts registration for boys and girls in grades 3-8 and we provide a Clinic Program for PreK-2 grade. Google Registration form link will be available in the Stillwater School Newsletter, Stillwater related social media and by contacting the Coordinator below. Registration usually runs to Mid October to November 1.
