American Flag Disposal Box at Town Hall

As we all know, the American Flag has a long history. Our Veterans have risked their lives and/or given up comfortable lifestyles while defending and honoring our nations most iconic symbol of freedom.

When it comes time to replace a worn/tattered flag, proper etiquette is paramount. Fold the flag correctly by ending with a triangle of blue with white stars. Folding the flag properly shows our level of respect and dedication.

Once you have done this, it is often then taken to a location that properly retires/disposes of the flag in a ceremonial fashion. American Legion, VFW and government offices have disposal boxes. Stillwater now has a disposal box at the Town Hall!

Special thanks to Jon Franco for creating our first box and donating his time and material. These flags will be properly delivered to our local VFW for disposal.

TREX Recycling Community Can Update

The can at the Community Center will be removed on Monday, 6/19, and will return at that location or another in the fall.

Our Mission
The Kittatinny Education Foundation was founded in 2019 as an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to expand and enrich the educational experience for all students at Kittatinny Regional High School. The KEF raises private funds, develops community partnerships, and advocates for Kittatinny’s students and teachers by supporting staff initiatives that fall outside of existing budget parameters. Our Vision to involve our greater community in fundraising and charitable giving efforts to strengthen our educational programming which supports teachers’ creative endeavors and
inspires our students, preparing them for college, careers, and future community involvement.

Dog Licenses Due Jan 31

Just a reminder that the 2024 Dog Licenses were due by January 31st, however there is a grace period until Monday, February 5th. After February 5th there will be a $5.00 late fee per month, per dog. The rabies vaccination must be good through at least November 2024.
