Unlicensed Dogs

It has come to the Township’s attention that there are many unlicensed dogs residing within the Township. Per NJ State Law, all dogs must be licensed by January 31 of each year and any dog licensed after that is subject to late fees.

This is a friendly reminder that ALL dogs must be licensed by April 15, 2026 or court summons will be issued to owners.

Message From the Mayor 1/25

Message from Mayor V. Rumsey: “Good evening neighbors. I just got off of Mayors conference call with the folks at JCP&L. So far in the northern region of New Jersey there are only 23 outages they are being addressed and covered. The winds are below the 40 mph mark that alerts JCP&L for wind damage. They do have Tree Crews and Line Crews at the ready. They said that their system is performing strong at this time the winds and the ice should taper off overnight however they are watching the temperatures as they plummet and they will be going down all week. That is a concern for them. Not only is it a concern about our ash trees coming down if there is an ice condition, but most of the outages in a storm like this are actually caused by car accidents into polls so please, that being said, stay off the roads and be safe. If I get any more information from JCP&L, I will absolutely turn it over to all of you. Stay safe and if you have any outages, Please call into the direct line for JCP&L for outages, which is 888–544–4877. And again, please be safe. We should be out of the storm for the most part by tomorrow.”
