STILLWATER TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

September 25, 2023

A REGULAR MEETING of the Stillwater Township Zoning Board of Adjustment was held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lippencott in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. The flag was saluted, and roll call taken:

MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Lippencott, Mr. Wykoff, Mrs. Mountford, Mr. van der Haeghen, Mr. Doolittle

MEMBERS ABSENT: Mrs. Draghi, Mr. Kochenthal

ALSO PRESENT: William Haggerty, Esq., and Committee Liaison, Dawn Delaney

SWEARING IN OF BOARD MEMEBERS:

William Doolittle was sworn in as a Board Member by Mr. Haggerty.

MINUTES:

Mr. van der Haeghen made the motion to approve the minutes of August 28, 2023, seconded by Mrs. Mountford.

Mr. van der Haeghen – Yes, Mrs. Mountford – Yes, Mr. Lippencott – Yes, Mr. Wykoff – Yes, Mr. Doolittle – Abstained

RESOLUTIONS:

23-004 McDonough – Block 1801, Lot 22

Mr. Wykoff made the motion to approve the Resolution of the above matter, seconded by Mr. Lippencott.

CORRESPONDENCE: None OLD/NEW BUSSINESS: None EXECUTIVE SESSION: None OPEN TO THE PUBLIC:

The session was opened to the public at 7:35 pm. There being no public comment, the session was closed to the public at 7:35 pm.

COMMITTEE LIASON REPORT:

The August Committee Meeting was held on September 18, 2023, and the following summary was provided by Mrs. Delaney:

Community Center roof project began on September 20, 2023.

Douglas Vaughen was appointed as an employee to the DPW. He has one year to obtain his CDL license.

16 out of 22 REM foreclosures have been served and property notices will be posted.

Ordinance #2023-20 – Drainage Control of Driveways – Amending Section 163-1 naming the Zoning Officer as the Township’s driveway official will be adopted at the Public Hearing on October 3, 2023.

Ordinance #2023-24 – State mandate that requires privately owned salt storage containers to be covered will be adopted at the Public Hearing on October 3, 2023.

Change Order was awarded to Samuel Wykoff for the Community Center in the amount of $183.25.

Mrs. Mountford made a motion to find that Ordinance 2023-20 is consistent with the Master Plan and a favorable recommendation that the Township adopt said Ordinance, seconded by Mr. van der Haeghen.

ADJOURNMENT:

With there being no further business, a motion was made by Mr. Wykoff to adjourn the meeting. In a voice vote, all were in favor.
