Stillwater Day (6/6/2026) – Recreation Board
Tri-State Rentals: Bounce houses have been secured, invoice will be available to CFO.
All Access: Stage donation has been confirmed. Mrs. Tosti will confirm with All Access which items need to be set up first, either the stage or Tri State Rentals.
Mini Golf: The invoice was voted on during the last meeting. They will set up, be in attendance for duration of event, and break down at event end. A 20’x30′ area is needed. Rain is ok for operation, but heavy rain or lightning is not.
Band: “Not My Fault” is the 80s band that has been secured in part for our entertainment. They are fun and encourage crowd participation.
Vendors: The deadline for non-food vendors is 5/30, deadline for food vendors is 5/15. Bill Hughes will be contacting Mrs. Tosti to update her on whether they will be in attendance to cook/serve food.
Rain Date: No rain date has been set. Although we do love to offer one, the Recreation Commission has decided it’s too difficult to postpone this year due to the American 250th Celebration even at the Fairgrounds on June 7th, Father’s Day, and graduations. Vendors and entertainment should be notified of this update since they may hold us to payment.
Set Up: Mrs. Tosti said she will be at Veteran’s Park Field all day the Friday before to set up with Tri State Rentals, the DPW, etc. Mr. Carovillano will likely be there as well. The trailer will be loaded with supplies and brough tot eh field to make set up much easier. Vendors can bring their vehicles in, but they cannot go in/out once the event begins. They must either unload and remove their vehicle 1 hour prior to start time or leave their vehicle parked until the event is over. Someone is needed to set up the Recreation tent and table. As mentioned, all supplies will be in the trailer so it should be fairly quick. Mr. Manser asked if light towers are needed. Mr. Carovillano and Mrs. Tosti both responded yes. A request will be put in for 2 light towers and 2 information signs. Mrs. Tosti is currently working on the Stillwater Day flyer.
Committee Member Comments:
