The Municipal Clerk’s office can provide you with a “change of party” application. The application must be received by the Sussex County Clerk’s office fifty-five (55) days prior to the Primary Election. Forms can be obtained at the Sussex County Board of Elections website.

Voter registration deadline is 21 days prior to an election. Voters may register after the deadline, but will not be eligible to vote in the election immediately forthcoming.

You can register to vote at the Sussex County Clerk’s office or by mail. Voter Registration Forms are available at the Municipal Clerk’s office, or can be downloaded from the Sussex County Clerk’s website.

The Municipal Clerk’s office can provide you with an absentee ballot application which you mail to the Sussex County Clerk’s office. The application must be received by the Sussex County Clerk at least seven days prior to the election if mailed or by 3:00pm on the day prior to the election if you appear in person at the Sussex County Clerk’s office.
