OLD/NEW BUSINESS:
Discussion was initiated by Mr. Voris regarding the business district and questioned whether the Planning Board could do more to make our town more appealing and to entice prospective businesses to open in Stillwater.
Further discussion was held regarding 1067 Route 521. This property has an abandoned tennis court with various unregistered and immobile vehicles which remain in a constant state of mechanical work. Mr. Voris may bring this to the attention of the Zoning Officer as well as the DEP.
The Stillwater Township Planning Board would like to extend their thankfulness and gratitude to Mrs. Emily Wills for her years of service on the Planning Board.

Township Meeting of September 17, 2024
Another notice was sent to the owner of 992 Fairview Lake Road advising that the building must be demolished. If no response within 30 days, the construction official is authorized to begin the demolition process.
Three paving projects were approved as follows:
The overlaying from the Hyde-Away to the DPW garage, continuance of the Mt. Benevolence paving project and pavement of the parking lots of Veteran’s Field and Swartswood and the Community Center.
New employees (2) will be starting at the Recycling Center and the DPW. The DPW can now take home a work pick up truck on weekends in case there is an emergency call.
Kelly Ann Battista has been appointed to the Recreation Committee.
There will be a workshop on October 8, 2024 to discuss the Bicentennial Celebration.
Robert Lippencott provided a presentation to the Environmental Commission regarding his analysis of 40 years of water sampling reports. The Township would like to thank him for the immense savings, as this 500+ page report would have been extremely costly if payment was required. He was able to give the township suggested long term trends to assist in improving future testing results.
