Water Safety Fair the CERT team of volunteers provided the public with educational materials, recruitment new volunteers, sales, announcements, moving families and kids from place, clean up and so much more. Despite the wind, CERT did a great job and a huge thank to you all.
Thank you also went out to the Stillwater Fire Dept, NJ State Police Rescue Divers, NJ State Police Marine Division, and Ramapo K9 Search and Rescue Team
CERT earned $48.00 from sales
Feedback about the WSF for 2026 will be discussed at a later date. Updated the contact list
CPR and AED moved to June 25th• The cost will be $60 per person. Certification is issued by the American Heart Association is valid for two years.
Updated to the CERT Training and Community Event Calendar
Completed contract for the YMCA Wilderness Training on June 1st 9-5:00 This is one of a two part training. The cost will be $44. per person.

Discussed with Patrick Freeland about running a 2nd county CERT Basic Training Course in the fall.
May 17th Doug, Donna, and Maureen, attended a seminar on Preparing for Major Power Grid Outages. Will discusses out takes.
May 20th Maureen attended the Mobile Hospital Training, Rapid Deployment Inflatable System Training. NJ Dept of Health. Held at the Sussex Co Fair Grounds. Maureen has prepared a few slides to show to the team.
Anonymous donation for the purchase of long sleeve CERT t-shirt was made. Maureen placed the order shirts will be in a week.
Maureen is working with the NJ Fire Prevention Agency to set up a work shop for the CERT volunteers.
