STILLWATER TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

December 16, 2024@ 7:30 pm

A REGULAR MEETING of the Stillwater Township Zoning Board of Adjustment was held on the above date and time. The meeting was called to order in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act. The flag was saluted, and roll call taken.

MEMBERS PRESENT:

Mr. Lippencott, Mrs. Draghi, Mr. Wykoff, Mrs. Mountford, Mr. van der Haeghen, Mr. Kochenthal and Mr. Doolittle

MEMBERS ABSENT: None

ALSO PRESENT: William Haggerty, Esq., Deputy Mayor, Vera Rumsey and Dawn Delaney

SWEARING IN OF BOARD MEMBERS: None

APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 18, 2024

Mrs. Mountford made the motion to approve the November minutes, seconded by Mrs. Draghi.

OLD/NEW BUSINESS: Discussion was held on the pending application for 901 Stillwater Road. As no good cause was provided to waive the status of taxes to hear the matter, the Board decided to deem the application incomplete due to the two-year tax delinquency.

Mr. Kochenthal made the motion to deem the application for 901 Stillwater Road incomplete due to non-payment of taxes, seconded by Mrs. Draghi.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC: The session was opened to the public at 8:15pm.

Mr. Frank Taylor began to provide testimony regarding complaints of a neighbor. Mr. Haggerty advised that there is a pending violation notice as well as a pending appeal.

As such, the Board could not hear Mr. Taylor’s testimony until the matter is scheduled for a hearing.

There being no further business, the hearing was closed to the public at 8:20pm.

COMMITTEE LIAISON REPORT:

Deputy Mayor, Vera Rumsey:

  • The Yuletide Stroll was held by the Historical Society on Sunday, December 15, 2025.
  • The Township has prepared a Resolution regarding the recent drone activity which will be sent to surrounding towns, President Biden and the Governor’s Office.
  • The dilapidated building at 992 Fairview Lake Road has been demolished and removed by the hired contractor.
  • The Committee is working on the Budget for the upcoming January Budget hearing.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: None

ADJOURNMENT: At approximately 8:29pm a motion was made to adjourn the meeting. With a voice vote, all were in favor.
