PLANNING BOARD MEETING
July 15, 2026
The regular meeting of the Stillwater Township Planning Board was held on the above date and was called to order by Chair Pierce at 7:00pm.
Roll Call:
Members Present: Mr. Pierce, Ms. Kavanagh, Mrs. Puccio, Mr. Voris, Mrs. McDonough, and Mrs. Fornari
Members Absent: Mayor Rumsey, Deputy mayor Delaney, and Dr. Lippencott
Also Present: William Haggerty, Esq.
The Board stood for the flag salute, and it was announced that adequate notice of this meeting had been given to the public and the press under the provisions of the “Open Public Meetings Act”, N.J.S.A 10:4-1 et. seq.
Minutes: Ms. Kavanagh made the motion to approve the June 2026 minutes, seconded by Mrs. Puccio.

Memorializing Resolutions:
Cutler/Gilbert – Block 4003, Lots 14.01/14.02/14.03 (corrected)
Mr. Pierce made a motion to memorialize the above amended resolution, seconded by Ms. Kavanagh.

Mrs. McDonough made the motion to pay the bills below, seconded by Mrs. Fornari.

Old/New Business:
Short Term Rentals/AirBnB Ordinance –
Mr. Haggerty made the board recommended revisions to the Short-Term Rental Ordinance as discussed at the June meeting. He provided an overview of the remainder of the ordinance.
Mr. Pierce made a motion to forward the Ordinance to the Zoning Officer for comment and thereafter to the Township Committee, seconded by Mr. Voris.

Chair Pierce addressed the fact that Cannabis was not placed on the Agenda because the Township Committee voted it down. As such, there is no Cannabis Ordinance to further discuss.
Public Comment:
The meeting was opened to the public at 7:24pm.
Various members of the public spoke to voice their comments and/or concerns over their respective understanding of the next steps relative to the cannabis ordinance. It was explained that, at this time, there are no further steps to be taken since the Ordinance was voted down by the Township Committee and effectively doesn’t exist. In the event another Ordinance is presented, the Board will make recommendations at that time.
