March 26, 2025

The meeting was held in the Township Municipal Building and began at 7:10pm.

Present: Lori Breen, Barbara Kimmich, Ronald Kimmich, Carol Kouba, Doug McIntyre, Dawn Mutschler, Maureen Tsadilas

OEM Report:
There were no OEM or fire reports for this month.

Old Business: 
Everyone should have a vest by now. They are needed for Stillwater Clean-Up Day. On clean-up day, we will do Stillwater Road up to Fairview Lake Road. Members are encouraged to bring their own recycling and papers for shredding.

New Business:
We received a new, updated training schedule tonight.

There will be a training day at the Fairgrounds on April 26th. Participants must bring their CERT backpack.

On April 29th there will be a webinar on seizures.

If anyone in interested in the WISE Wellness Program, please call Dawn to register.

The Stillwater Easter Egg Hunt will not be a CERT event this year (meaning we will not set up a table).

There is an I.D. Bracelet Program for senior citizens to aid them if they get lost. It has a 90% recovery rate.

CERT will participate in the Water Safety Fair and Stillwater’s Bicentennial Celebration.

Dough talked about FEMA Training and also getting an I.D. number and password set up.

Tonight’s training was Basic First Aid. It included information about burns, choking, cuts/scrapes, electrocution, fractures, head trauma, nose bleeds, punctures, and bites.
