521 Maple Ave Bridge Closure

Please be advised that on Monday, August 4, the Sussex County Division of Engineering will be implementing a closure and detour of CR 521 in Stillwater Township, at MM 11.6 (approximately ½ mile north of the Warren County line),  for approximately (2) weeks – (3) weeks. 

In anticipation of a multi-year design and bidding process for final construction of the replacement retaining wall, the County’s design consultant has determined that two-lane, two-way traffic operations can be restored at this location utilizing reduced width lanes through the temporary traffic control zone.

A closure/detour of CR 521, around the project site, is required to perform the necessary work to reestablish two-way traffic.
