Old Business:
Basic First Aid Training course held March meeting. Six CERT volunteers completed the training

Maureen placed the order for sweatshirts for the CERT team

Completed sing up for Clean-Up Day

NJ CERT Workshop “Disasterville” will be held on Saturday April 26th, 0800-1600, Middlesex Co. Fire Academy, Sayreville NJ.

Information flyer sent out to team on3l20/25 with the suggestion of carpooling

Staying Safe – Personal Safety Tips
Presentation by Susan Dell Part 1 of sheltering and field preparedness training

Updates to the CERT Training and Community Event Calendar:
1. Water Safety Fair: Sunday May 18th – Fairview Lake YMCA Camps
2 Stillwater Bicentennial Event: Saturday June 7th – Veteran’s Park
3. CPR and AED training: Wednesday May 28th – CERT meeting
4.Wilderness Safety Training: Sunday June 1st – Fairview Lake YMCA Camps

Thank you to those CERT members who participated in this year’s Clean-Up Day: Ilene, Doug, John, and Maureen. Collected just under 200lbs of recyclables and 90lbs of trash. Earned $300.00 for CERT budget.

May 18th WSF CERT members are needed for this 4 hour event. CERT will have an educational table and will be selling water and bagels at a second table. Volunteers will be alternating back and forth covering the two areas.

April 7th the Township Journal ran our CERT story on volunteerism and the roll we play in alongside are first responders.
